Noise Control 3D is an educational computer modeling program developed by Michael Salameh. It
helps college students understand room acoustics and noise control in buildings.
The software includes the concepts and calculations of: Reverberation Time (RT), Reverberant/Direct Sound, Sound Transmission Class (STC) and Composite
STC, Noise Criterion (NC), Balanced Noise Criterion, dB and dBA. The NC calculation uses transmission losses of the room boundaries and noise levels in adjacent rooms.
The software is free and includes only one file. It is a standalone program that runs without installation or computer modification. The current version (size 208 k) can be downloaded at (NoiseControl3D). Update information is listed in the text file (size 1.5 k).
